The pursuit of art and aesthetics as seen from
Sukiya (tea-ceremony style) architecture and garden.

The garden which is a famous masterpiece of the seventh generation
Ogawa Jihei was
designated as a national scenic spot in 1988.
Light and shadow intersect with water, sound and time resulting in the illusion
of the
landscape melting in the distance. Without those who observe and
“feel it”, the beauty of this
garden will never be completed.

This Tairyusanso Garden is a space where we “Enjoy with our Five Senses.”
Kengo Kuma also comments, “The garden is always more than nature.
It is a social space
for those who like to be away from consuming things.”
